Samsung One UI 5 Beta

It’s no secret that the animations in the Samsung One UI 5 Beta versions have been criticized in the past few weeks. This is a shame because these Samsung flagships have the best hardware specs you can get, but they are slow because they aren’t optimized. But the fourth beta version just got updates that should fix all the problems.

The stable One UI 5 update likely won’t be available on Samsung devices for a few more weeks, but things are going well. The Korean OEM is doing great with the Android 13 beta testing phase, getting the new version of One UI on many devices. Now, the company has started sending out the fourth beta version of the Galaxy S22 line of phones before they are released to the public.

Those using the third One UI 5 beta should get the update soon. Settings > Software update > Download and install can be used to check for updates manually. The update is only available for US, South Korean, and European devices; other Snapdragon variants will follow soon.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 don’t have One UI 5 yet. Android 13 for Samsung’s foldable will likely be delayed.

Even though there have been fixes, there are still problems with this 1.5GB build ZVJ2. There are problems with opening some files, DeX, and the lock screen.
