Samsung Galaxy Win 2 Duos Launched

Samsung announced on Tuesday the Galaxy Win 2 Duos – the successor of the Galaxy Win Duos smartphone. This was during an event in San Paolo in Brazil.

It is a dual-sim smartphone that carries connectivity options that include a 4G LTE support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct and Micro-USB.

This handset runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat out-of-the-box and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, with 8GB built-in storage expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.

Galaxy Win 2 Duos features a 4.5-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) TFT display, which is slightly smaller than the original Galaxy Win Duos with 4.7-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display. It measures 131×68.1×8.8 mm and weighs 130g, and sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash plus a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Samsung Galaxy Win 2 Duos carries a 2000mAh battery identical to that of the Galaxy Win Duos.

No further details about its availability for other regions like in the Philippines have been released yet. Though it was announced that the smartphone will be made available first in the Brazilian market for BRL 729 or approximately Php10, 300. Another model with support for digital TV is priced at BRL 779 or approximately Php11, 000.
