
Tech giant Samsung has unveiled its latest entry-level smartwatch, the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE. The brand aims to offer an affordable alternative to its premium smartwatches.
For specs, it boasts Sapphire Crystal glass in a 40mm aluminum case for enhanced durability and protection from scratches. The display is a 1.2-inch (396 x 396) Super AMOLED panel with full color always on display and customizable watch faces.
Powering it is Samsung’s own 1.18GHz dual-core Exynos W920 processor. It includes 1.5GB of memory and 16GB of internal storage. Additionally, it also packs a 246mAh battery with WPC-based wireless charging.
The smartwatch features LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, NFC, and GPS/Glonass/Beidou/Galileo connectivity. Sensors include Samsung BioActive Sensor, accelerometer, barometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, and light sensor.
Moreover, it supports over 100 workouts, advanced running analysis, personalized heart rate zones, body composition analysis, advanced sleep tracking, sleep pattern monitoring, sleep coaching, Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification, blood pressure measurement, and ECG.
For seamless ecosystem connectivity, it also offers features like Find My Phone, camera control, and Samsung Wallet with Samsung devices.
Other features include IP68 dust and water resistance, a 5ATM rating for diving, MIL-STD-810H durability, and Wear OS with Samsung’s One UI 5 Watch. It comes with different strap designs.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is priced at USD 199 (~PHP 11,681) for the vanilla model and USD 249 (~PHP 14,616) for the LTE variant.
