Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+ in the Philippines.
The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra measures 5.1mm thick, making it Samsung’s thinnest Galaxy Tab to date. The Wi-Fi model weighs 692 grams, and the 5G version weighs 695 grams. The Galaxy Tab S12+ is 5.3mm thick and weighs 553 grams (Wi-Fi) and 555 grams (5G).
The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra has a 14.6-inch display with a 2960 x 1848 resolution, while the Galaxy Tab S12+ has a 12.6-inch display with a 2800 x 1752 resolution.
They also feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,600 nits peak brightness.
For cameras, the Tab S12 Ultra has a 13MP + 8MP ultrawide rear camera setup and a 12MP ultrawide front camera. The Tab S12+ has a 13MP rear camera and a 12MP ultrawide front camera.
Both tablets run Android 17 with One UI 9 and are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset.
The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra comes with an 11,600mAh battery, while the Tab S12+ has a 10,600mAh battery. Both support 45W wired charging. Samsung claims up to 23 hours of battery life on the Ultra and up to 21 hours on the Tab S12+ under its testing conditions.
Samsung has also added a 3D Vapor Chamber cooling system to both models. The tablets have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and support up to seven generations of OS upgrades and security updates.
Both models include an S Pen in the box, although the new S Pen does not support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The tablets also support Samsung’s Pro Keyboard and Book Cover Keyboard Slim accessories, which are sold separately.
On the software side, the Galaxy Tab S12 series includes Galaxy AI features such as Note Assist, while Multi Window allows users to split the display into up to three sections. The tablets also come with a six-month trial of Google AI Pro.

The Galaxy Tab S12 series will be available for pre-order exclusively on Shopee from October 9 to 20, 2026, with online sales starting October 21 through Samsung.com, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Shopee, MemoX.com, and Abenson.com. It will reach Samsung Experience Stores and authorized stores on October 28.
