Samsung has announced the Galaxy SmartTag3, a smaller tracker for locating items such as keys, bags, luggage, and pet collars.
The SmartTag3 is around 35% smaller by volume and 33% lighter than its predecessor.
It also supports Galaxy and iOS devices and offers up to 550 days of battery life, or up to 790 days in Power Saving Mode.
Its Compass View feature can provide distance and directional guidance from up to 60 meters away using Bluetooth 6.0 Channel Sounding. It also supports UWB for more precise nearby finding.
Other features include Place Notification, Location History, Movement Detection Alert, NFC Lost Mode, and an IP67 rating.
Galaxy SmartTag3 Availability
The Galaxy SmartTag3 will launch in South Korea on October 7, 2026, followed by the U.S.
Additional markets are expected in 2027. Philippine pricing and availability have not been announced. Stay tuned.
