The main difference in specs of the Galaxy J5 Pro and non-pro are on memory configurations with the Galaxy J5 Pro (2017) having extra 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. This gives the Pro a 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM total memory combination with an expandable microSD card slot for up to 256GB. Overall, the specs and features remain the same.
For pricing, expect the Galaxy J5 Pro (2017) to retail for $20 to $40 more depending on your region’s taxes and tariffs. Currently, the Samsung Galaxy J5 2017 is priced about P13,990 or $280 USD which puts the Pro model around P15,000 or more.
There is no official announcement yet if the Galaxy J5 Pro (2017) will become available locally in the PH as to the Galaxy J7 Pro. For now, you can have the latter J series at P15,990 price.
