Also known as Samsung Galaxy M62, the Galaxy F62 has been spotted to launch on February 15 with the tagline #FullOnSpeedy Performance. What it basically means is that the upcoming Samsung phone will sport the flagship 7nm Exynos 9825 from 2019. Though the chipset is nearing two years, it’s still a 5G-capable chip with respectable premium mid-tier performance in 2021.
Based on the leaked specs, the Galaxy F62 will sport a large 6.7″ FHD+ AMOLED, presumably with only a 60Hz refresh rate. The back will be commanded by a 64MP Samsung sensor, alongside a 32MP selfie for the front. The chip is going to be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone is listed with One UI 3.1 based on Android 11. Other than the chip, what’s seemingly confirmed feature is the 7000mAh battery. It’s the only second Samsung phone with that huge battery, with the Galaxy M51 debuting it first.Â
As for the price, there’s no information about it yet. But to give you an idea, the Galaxy M51 is retailing for P19,990 in the Philippines.
