The popular Samsung Galaxy A50 is about to get a revamp and could arrive as the Galaxy A51. As for the changes, there are four main cameras housed inside a large, rectangular camera module and a pinhole display instead of a teardrop notch. Last August, Samsung launched the Galaxy A50s that came with a slightly better chipset and better cameras.
Samsung Galaxy A51 To Feature Four Main Cameras and a Pinhole Display
The leaked Galaxy A51 images come from @OnLeaks. Having a good reputation when it comes to unreleased smartphones, there’s a good chance that we’re looking at the real thing. That said, the A51 shows the switch to a pinhole display from a teardrop notch. Given we’re looking at a render, you can expect the pinhole/selfie camera to be significantly bigger in person. Another major change is the main cameras — there are four lenses. They will consist of 48MP, 12MP ultrawide, 12MP telephoto, and 5MP depth. Upfront, however, is the same 32MP selfie camera from the A50s. Color availability is silver, blue, and black in a glossy finish.
As for the rest of the specs, there’s the same Exynos 9611 chipset with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage and 6.2″ FHD+ Super AMOLED. The under-screen fingerprint scanner seems to be staying here as well. The price is said to be over $250USD or around ~P12,500. That’s a lot cheaper than the official P18,990 PH price of A50s.
