
REDMI has officially launched the Turbo 5 in China.
The Turbo 5 features a 6.59-inch flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2756 × 1268, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
For cameras, the rear setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, it comes with a 20MP camera handles selfies.

Inside, the device is powered by MediaTek’s 4nm Dimensity 8500 processor, clocked at up to 3.4GHz, paired with a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU.
It is available with 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. Cooling is handled by a 3D ice-sealed circulating cold pump system, along with REDMI’s Rampage Engine for performance tuning.
The phone packs a 7,560mAh battery and supports 100W wired HyperCharge and 27W wireless charging.

For protection, the phone carries quad IP ratings, which are IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K for dust resistance and water protection.
The REDMI Turbo 5 runs Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3.

The device is expected to unveil in the Philippines in February or March 2026, likely rebranded as the POCO F8 or POCO X8 Pro.
