Which is a better buy between the Redmi K20 and Realme X?
Design
If you’re looking for that premium feel in the hands, the Redmi K20 brings exactly that with its glass body. Furthermore, the reflective design on the back is more intricate as it stands out from the rest. As for the display, there’s a better AMOLED screen on this device due to support for HDR10. With it, you can watch HDR content — boosting the overall picture quality for a better viewing experience.

Performance
Spec-wise, the Redmi K20 gets a generational advantage with the Snapdragon 730 chipset. It’s also the only phone with the option to go up to 256GB. However, the Realme X is the cheaper handset due to its starting 4GB/64GB model.
Camera
The cameras will go again to the Redmi K20 thanks to the addition of 8MP f2.4 telephoto lens and 13MP f2.4 ultrawide lens alongside its 48MP f1.8 wide main sensor. Realme X ain’t too shabby tho with the 48MP f1.7 wide main lens accompanied by a 5MP f2.4 lens.
Both devices are sporting selfie pop-up camera — expect crisper quality from the 20MP f2.2 lens of the Redmi K20, but a wider field-of-view from the 16MP f2.0 wide sensor of the Realme X.
Battery
In terms of spec sheets, the Redmi K20 might last longer with its larger 4000mAh battery. But faster top-ups will go to the Realme X due to its faster 20W VOOC 3.0 charging (55% in 30mins).
Price
Both the Redmi K20 and Realme X are estimated to arrive around P14,990(6GB/128GB) before taxes. It seems like the K20 is the better overall device, so we wouldn’t be surprised if it’s slightly more expensive than its competition.
