Xiaomi just announced their latest affordable smartphone under the 5k price point. The Redmi A1 variant that is coming to the Philippines has a 3GB/64GB configuration. Which is surprisingly better than the one they announced in India.
The Redmi A1 is powered by an Helio A22 processor with a large 5000mAh battery inside. It boasts a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a notch that houses the 5-megapixel selfie camera. It packs a dual camera setup on the back which is consist of an 8-megapixel main camera and a QVGA depth sensor.

Redmi A1 is officially priced at Php 4,499 which is lower than its price in India. You can also get the Redmi A1 for the price of Php 3,999 starting October 29 to November 13. Along with the lower pricing, Xiaomi is also including a free Bluetooth speaker while supplies last.
