Xiaomi is preparing for the launch of the Redmi Note 11 series in India today. However, it seems that the company is not yet ready to end the Redmi 10 series.
The brand is expected to officially reveal a 2022 variant of the Redmi 10 family soon in the country and other markets.
The Redmi 10 (2022) has been listed on Geekbench, which gives further indications of an imminent release. There is no official date for it to be made official, but the possible specifications can already be seen.
It has a code of 21121119VL and should come with a MediaTek MT6769H processor, which appears to be the Helio G88. It has peak clocks of 2.0 GHz and 1.8 GHz on six cores. The variant listed on Geekbench has 4GB of RAM, but Xiaomi may announce versions with more RAM and bigger internal storage.
Redmi 10 (2022) variants should come with Android 11 out of the box and MIUI 12.5. However, Xiaomi intends to launch some phones with MIUI 13 based on Android 11 and not 12. It will be necessary to wait and see what the manufacturer intends to do with this new series.
Geekbench revealed that the phone scored 367 and 1253 in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The phone had previously been certified by EU Compliance, which revealed that it will come with a 4,900 mAh battery pack and support for 22.5W fast charging. Last December, it passed through the Google Play Console.
