Hold on to your wallets as Realme is about to make a splash this September with not one, not two, not three, but possibly SIX phones making debuts. According to sources, the Realme X7 Series will be introduced on September 1 in China, while Realme 7 Series, 7i, and C17 recently passed NBTC certifications indicating upcoming releases. This may come as a surprise to you, given the sheer number of phones, but the company took a new strategy this year, which involves releasing successors after 3 and 6 months.

Starting with Realme X7 Series, it’s a lineup that will comprise X7 and X7 Pro. Realme CMO, Xu Qi, even teased and shared an official poster that revealed some key features such as 120Hz curved AMOLED display. On top of that, the devices are said to come with 65W fast charging and 5G capability. Matching up with earlier reports, the TENAA model number RMX2176 is apparently the X7. Ths specs will include Snapdragon 765G, 32MP selfie, 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP quad-cameras, and a 4300mAh battery. The X7 Pro is rumored to be the RMX2121, which could feature a dual-cell battery for 65W fast charging. Some even said that it could be a Snapdragon 865 handset.

For the Realme 7 Series, 7i, and C17, not a single spec sheet got revealed. However, NBTC confirmed their model numbers — C17(RMX2101), 7i(RMX2103), and 7 Pro(RMX2170). Realme 7 wasn’t mentioned in the report, but this year, if there’s a Pro model, you can expect a non-Pro model as well. The only feature revealed is the 65W dual-cell battery for the 7 Pro.

Realme 6 and 6 Pro are about to turn six-month-old this September. In the company’s timeline, that’s already due for an update. Seeing the Realme 7 and 7 Pro at this point makes sense, assuming the company wants to maintain the title of “the fastest-growing smartphone brand”

As for the Realme 7i, it’s not surprising to see that phone as Realme 5i got replace by Realme 6i after three months. If we’re to follow that record, we may see the 7i as early as September in the Philippines.
