Which is a better buy between the Realme 2 Pro and Realme U1?

Their respective SoCs differ with the Realme 2 Pro sporting an older Snapdragon 660 but comes with better GPU from the Adreno 512 while the Realme U1 comes out on top on raw CPU performance from the Helio P70 with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.

With both being a camera-centric phone, expect the 2 Pro to come out with better low-light shots due to the 16MP + 2MP f1.7. But selfie-wise, we’re talking about a crisper and better output from the U1 thanks to its main highlight — a 25MP sensor.
Both clocks in with a respectable 3500mAh battery but charges via micro USB 2.0 of yesterday.
Do take note the Realme U1 can be had at a much cheaper price starting at Php9,990 for the 3GB/32GB model and Php11,990 for the 4GB/64GB top model. The Realme 2 Pro starts at Php 10,990. All estimated after taxes.
To conclude, the Realme 2 Pro is a better overall device but the Realme U1 is a decent pick especially the lower variant, but if, and only if, you want a better selfie camera.
