When realme introduced the Narzo 50 series, it left the vanilla realme Narzo 50 out of the party. However, now the company is correcting its mistake with the release of the new smartphone.
The realme Narzo 50 should be a competitive smartphone for those who don’t yet need a 5G SoC but want a decent experience.
It packs a 6.6-inch Full HD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s obviously an LCD screen to match the price. The device comes with the MediaTek Helio G96 SoC. For those who don’t know, this is a small refresh over the Helio G95 with optimizations for higher refresh rates. It is still based on the 12 nm process and comes with two ARM Cortex-A76 cores. It is available in variants with 4GB and 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage.
The device draw its power from a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging. It fits some smartphones of the recently launched Realme 9 series. The device will bring a 50MP main camera and that’s the only one that really counts. There are two other 2MP B&W portrait lenses and a 2MP macro snapper. A 1 MP snapper takes care of selfie and video calls. The handset runs Realme UI 3.0, based on the Android 11.
