realme earlier announced that the latest flagship realme GT 2 series will launch globally at MWC Barcelona 2022 on February 28. The series consists of the realme GT 2 and GT 2 Pro smartphones.
To recap, the realme GT 2 Series was first launched in China early last month as one of the first smartphones to be powered by the latest 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
The realme GT 2 series also boasts a bio-based eco-friendly polymer smartphone back design, co-designed by award-winning designer and former MUJI collaborator Naoto Fukasawa. The GT 2 Pro is also the first to feature a 150° ultra-wide-angle camera.
For specs, the vanilla realme GT 2 sports a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
Camera-wise, it features a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, it comes with a 16MP selfie camera.
The flagship realme GT 2 Pro, on the other hand, boasts a flat 6.7-inch WQHD+ AMOLED LTPO panel with a 120Hz Adaptive refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, and a 5000mAh battery with 65W charging.
For photography, it comes with a 50MP Sony IMX776 main camera with OIS, a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL 150° ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP microscopic lens with 40x magnification. Upfront is a 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie camera.
