realme GT 2 series goes official with bio-based polymer design, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1

realme has officially unveiled its latest GT 2 series in China, the realme GT 2 and the flagship GT 2 Pro.

Two of the colorways of the GT 2 series feature the world’s first bio-based eco-friendly polymer smartphone design, co-designed by award-winning designer and former MUJI collaborator Naoto Fukasawa. The Paper Tech Master Design offers customers a more sustainable alternative while not compromising overall aesthetic and durability.

The vanilla GT 2 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor, while the GT 2 Pro is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Both smartphones feature triple rear cameras with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor. The Pro variant gets a secondary Samsung JN1 50MP ultrawide shooter with a 150 field of view and a microscope lens with 40x magnification. Check out their full specs below.
