Realme, the sub-brand of OPPO, continues to bolster its smartphone lineup in 2020. Its influence in the country is undeniable, from affordable phones to AIoT devices, the company strives to create an ecosystem of its own. Just a few weeks ago, Realme C11 went official, targeting the increasing population of homeschoolers. After that, Realme C15 went live in India. But, it appears that it doesn’t stop there. Thanks to a Geekbench listing, we know now that Realme C12 is an upcoming budget phone yet again.
With the model number RMX2189, certified by regulatory agencies, the presumed Realme C12 runs on MediaTek MT6765G Helio P35 SoC with 3GB RAM to boot. The listed OS is Android10. Other than those, we’re pretty much left in the dark. With the model number’s recent appearance on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, it’s safe to assume that the upcoming affordable phone will launch in India very soon.
As seen from the key specs, Realme C12 may be a bit pricer or cheaper than Realme C11. The C11 features Helio G35, 720p screen, dual-cameras, and 5000mAh battery for P4,990.
