realme launched its first laptop- the realme Book (realme Book Slim in other markets).
The Realme Book comes with a 14-inch 2K Full Vision IPS display with a peak brightness of 400nits. It’s a slim and light 14-inch ultrabook with 11-gen Intel Core processors, Windows 10, and up to 11-hours battery life on a single charge.
Intel’s 11-gen Core i3 and Core i5 processors are paired with Iris XE integrated graphics. Realme also packed a dual-fan cooling solution to keep thermals at bay. The laptop will get up to 16GB LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD storage.
It gets WiFi-6 technology (only for Intel Core i5 Version). The ports are Type-C USB 3, Type-C USB 4/Thundebold port, a Type-A USB 3, and a headphone jack. The software front is covered by Windows 10 with a free upgrade to Windows 11.
The realme Book also has a neat PC Connect feature allowing you to fully control compatible Realme phones via Wi-Fi Direct. It is packed with a 54Wh battery that is rated at up to 11-hours. The laptop comes with a 65W charger that connects via USB-C and should do a 0-50% charge in just 30 minutes.
Pricing in India for the Intel Core i3 model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage starts at INR 46,999 (P31,885 est.). The Core i5 version with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage will sell for INR 59,999 (P40,711 est.).
The 8/512GB Realme Book with Core i5 processor will cost CNY 4,299 (P33,445) in China while the maxed out 16/512GB trim will go for CNY 4,699 (P36,572). First sales there start a week from now on August 25.
