realme 12 Pro+ 5G with 64MP periscope camera, Snapdragon 7s Gen2 SoC Unveiled

Alongside the realme 12 Pro 5G, the realme 12 Pro+ 5G has also been released in India.

Just like the 12 Pro 5G, the Plus version also boasts a luxury watch-inspired design by Ollivier Saveo and comes with a premium vegan leather back shell finish with golden lining.

At the front, the device has a stronger build with 0.55mm double-reinforced glass on its 6.7-inch curved OLED display. It also comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1260Hz instant touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and up to 950 nits brightness.

Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm’s 2.4GHz 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 octa-core processor paired with Adreno 710 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM (+ up to 12GB Extended RAM), up to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, and 5000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC charging.

What sets it apart is its 64-megapixel Omnivision OV64B periscope camera with 3x optical zoom, 6X in-sensor zoom, and up to 120x zoom. Other than that, it has a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. Upfront is a 32MP Sony selfie shooter.
