The C55 smartphone from POCO will be available in India on April 16. The business confirmed the device’s arrival in the Indian market, and an official release date has been announced.

A recent official tweet from the Chinese smartphone company confirms that the new POCO C55 will release in India on February 21, 2023. To fill in the blanks, this is a low-end smartphone that will include in the C line from the manufacturer. So far as we can tell, the C55 will have two cameras mounted on its back. In addition to its several cameras, it will also have a fingerprint scanner conveniently located on the device’s back.
Other hints have pointed to a leather-like rear panel design. The C55 has been speculated to be a rebadged Redmi 12C with a modified back end, although the manufacturer has yet to provide any official confirmation of this. The internal specs are probably the same or very close. The Redmi 12C debuted in China in January and has a 6.71-inch HD+ display and a 5-megapixel front camera.
It has a MediaTek Helio G85 system-on-chip (SoC) and up to 6GB of RAM. It has a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the back. The smartphone is powered by a big 5,000mAh battery pack but only supports regular 10W charging. Stay tuned since we will report on any further hints or leaks leading up to the debut.
