PLDT Home Life has introduced the Smart Home Starter Kit in the Philippines.
The kit is a bundle in partnership with TP-Link, using devices from its Tapo smart home lineup.
First is the Tapo H100 Smart Hub with Chime, which will serve as the main control unit of the system. It connects compatible Tapo sensors and devices, enables automation rules, and triggers sound alerts.
Next, the C110 Indoor Camera, just like its name, it’s an indoor security camera that can record in 2K resolution. It supports AI-based detection for human movement and sound, allowing users to receive alerts and monitor indoor activity remotely.
Third is the C120 Indoor/Outdoor Camera, which is a camera designed for both indoor and outdoor use. It can also record in 2K QHD resolution, two-way audio, and AI detection for humans, pets, vehicles, and sound events.
The bundle also offers a P105 Mini Smart Plug that allows appliances to be turned on or off remotely. Users can create schedules, timers, and automation rules through the mobile app.
Also, the T310 Temperature and Humidity Sensor measures real-time temperature and humidity levels inside the home.
Lastly, the T110 Smart Contact Sensor for doors and windows that detects opening and closing activity. It sends notifications when access points are opened or left open for a set period.
The PLDT Home Life Smart Home Starter Kit is priced at PHP4,836 and is available exclusively to existing PLDT Home Fiber subscribers as a one-time add-on to their internet subscription.
