Philips has launched its latest flagship gaming monitor in China — the Philips Evnia 27M2N8800.
The Philips Evnia 27M2N8800 is a gaming monitor flaunting a 26.5-inch 4K display with Samsung’s third-generation QD-OLED panel. It offers 3840×2160 resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and an ultra-low GTG response time of 0.03ms.
The monitor also supports up to 1000 nits peak brightness on a 3% window with HDR True Black 400 certification for vivid highlights and rich shadow details, Adaptive Sync for smooth and tear-free visuals, and VESA ClearMR 13000 certification for low motion blur.
Moreover, it covers 99% of the DCI-P3 gamut, 97.6% Adobe RGB, and 100% sRGB, with factory calibration ensuring Delta E <1 accuracy.
It is ideal for both content creation and gaming because it has a native 10-bit display for more fluid color transitions. With a three-year burn-in warranty, Philips also offers an AI-based anti-burn-in technology that continuously checks static components like HUDs and logos.
Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports (48 Gbps FRL6), a DisplayPort 2.1 (80 Gbps UHBR20), USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a USB upstream connection, and audio out.
In terms of design, it sports a silver armor finish with a height-adjustable and tilt-and-swivel ergonomic stand. The rear comes with a white chassis and star-patterned texture.
Other features include Ambiglow which syncs rear LEDs with on-screen visuals and audio, dual 5W speakers, a five-way joystick for quick navigation, supports picture-in-picture modes, and AI-based Stark Shadow Boost with Zero Latency Sync.
The monitor weighs 7.14 kg and 5.81 kg without the stand.
The Philips Evnia 27M2N8800 is priced at 6,499 Chinese Yuan (~PHP 50,162) and is now available via JD.com.
