OPPO Find X2 Teased to Use Samsung 120Hz QHD+ OLED Display

The Successor to the Find X Might Sport Samsung 120Hz OLED Display

According to a Weibo post, OPPO Find X2 will use Samsung’s 120Hz OLED screen technology. The resolution is said to be QHD+, so you’re bound to get sharp and fast display quality. Like most flagship phones today, the curved screen flows to the side. It’s unknown whether it will be like Vivo Nex 3 featuring haptic-based volume rocker and power button, however, that seems unlikely here. Also, the size is 6.5″.

But in a tweet from OPPO’s Vice-President and President of Global Marketing, Brian Shen, his recent hands-on experience with the Find X2 left him saying “the screen is second to none!” Adding that it will be a “game changer!”

The company, as backed up by the IHS Markit Whitepaper Study, predicts the latest smartphone trend this year is screen innovation. It’s also said to improve the Internet of Things (IoT) experience.

During Qualcomm Summit last December, the company unveiled that Find X2 will indeed use the new Snapdragon 865 with a dedicated X55 5G modem. While other rumors point out that the charging technology will be 65W, the same as Reno Ace. One thing is for sure, though, the device will launch around early 2020.
