
OPPO is set to unveil the OPPO Find N5, its next-generation foldable phone, in February in China.
The Find N5 is confirmed to have IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 water resistance, making it the first foldable phone with such protection.
It also supports underwater photography, similar to the OPPO Find X8 and OPPO Reno13 Series 5G lineup.
The Find N5 features a 2K foldable OLED screen
For cameras, it will boast a 50MP Hasselblad main camera and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor’s 7-core version. It is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM with unspecified storage variants.
Battery-wise, it will be packed with a 5700mAh battery with magnetic wireless charging.
The OPPO Find N5 is also reported to measure less than 9.2mm when folded and 4mm per side when unfolded. The device weighs under 230 grams, which is slightly lighter than the OPPO Find N3.
According to rumors, the OPPO Find N5 may launch globally under the OnePlus branding as the OnePlus Open 2.
