With the reports of CapCut being banned in the USA, Meta has announced a new video editing app for mobile called Edits.
Instagram head Adam Mosseri shared details about the app, which is designed for creating short-form videos.
The app will feature creative tools, a built-in camera, and a tab with audios. It will also offer exporting videos with no watermark.
The upcoming app will also allow users to share, save drafts, and get performance insights when posting directly to Instagram Reels.
Moreover, it will offer AI animations, green screen effects, audio enhancements, and automatic captions, and other features you can customize.
According to the App Store in the Philippines, the Edits app will be available on March 13, 2025. You can pre-order it now and be notified when it becomes available in the country.
