Early this year, OPPO has announced its powerful and premium midrange OPPO F11 Pro to join the tough midrange competition with very affordable prices. This month, the company has a back-up to bring OPPO F11 priced PHP15, 990 packing its exciting features and the beast 48MP primary camera. But what makes it different?

OPPO F11’s design is reminiscent to her older sibling— OPPO F11 Pro. It also has a gradient-finish color at the back that shines when reflected in the light. It feels solid and heavy when you hold it in hand. However, the only difference is, OPPO F11 has a water drop notch where the front-facing camera is placed on.
In terms of the display, OPPO F11 has a 6.5’’ screen with crisp and vivid 2340 x 1080p Full HD resolution protected by Gorilla Glass 5 for scratch-resistance and strength.

Camera is one of the key features of OPPO F11 series. Like its older sibling, OPPO F11 Pro has a dual-rear camera system with big primary sensor of 48MP and 5MP depth sensor for portrait or bokeh shots. But selfie camera set-up with the younger F11 is different. OPPO F11 Pro has a motorized pop-up camera while F11 selfie shooter is placed underneath the water drop notch display. Surprisingly, both phones have 16MP front-facing cameras.
Like its older sibling, OPPO F11 packs a 48MP primary camera at the back.
Here are the sample shots in AUTO mode:
In daylight condition, OPPO F11 tends to saturate the photos looking so accurate. Overexposure is not a problem with its 48MP primary camera as it manages to balance light and the shadows.
Look at the samples below:
Even shooting in AUTO mode, OPPO F11 has able to produce brighter pictures like the Pro version. Although some details seem to be washed out, colors still look accurate balancing both the contrast and the saturation.
Selfies also look great even though skin tone is softened most of the scenarios. Portrait selfie as seen below also looks good emphasizing the bokeh effect in the background that is almost accurate.

OPPO F11 is also powered by MediaTek Helio P70 2.1GHz octa-core processor with Mali-G72 GPU. OPPO F11 is capable of low to medium settings when playing PUBG mobile and noticeably struggling when played on high settings.
Both OPPO F11 Pro and F11 have scored almost close with each other in real-world benchmark tests:

Like its sibling, OPPO F11 has a battery capacity of 4000mAh that will truly accompany you in a whole day usage.
Charging is equipped with 20W Super VOOC Ultra-Fast Charging Technology. However, the use of old-generation micro-USB port is a downer considering the use of USB Type-C by other midrange smartphones in the market today.
Both F11 and F11 Pro have a micro-USB port.

With its price of PHP15,990 with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM, OPPO F11 is a deal-breaker considering its solid specifications on par of its Pro version. The non-use of motorized pop-up camera is not a big deal since it also has a 16MP front-facing camera like what’s used in F11 Pro. Plus, face unlock is easier and accessible.
Over-all, with its premium design and remarkable performance, OPPO F11 is a recommended phone for smartphone users out there.
