So, Selfie Expert Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo had quietly launched mid-ranger Oppo A71 last September. It comes with decent specs for the right price. Now, the OPPO A71 (2018) has been launched in Pakistan. The question now is, what’s the difference between the OPPO A71 and the 2018 edition of it?
Both the Oppo A71 and OPPO A71 (2018) sports a 5.2-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display. The @018 edition is powered by a Snapdragon 450 chipset, while the 2017 edition is powered by the old MediaTek MT6750T octa-core 1.5GHz processor.
Aside from that, the smartphones have 3GB RAM and an expandable 16GB ROM inside. Both are running on Android 7.1 Nougat but a ColorOS 3.2 for the @018 edition, and Color OS 3.1 for the 2017 OPPO A71. Also, both handsets house a 3,000mAh of battery juice.
In terms of camera, both two editions of the Oppo A71 are equipped with a 13-MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, LED Flash. Up front is a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture. The 2018 edition also features Oppo’s “AI Beauty Recognition Technology”. Connectivity features include dual-SIM support, 4G, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
