Last month, we got hold of two smartphones priced under PHP15k, and these are the OPPO A6 Pro and the vivo V60 Lite 4G.
And today, we’ll be comparing these two devices to see which one gives you better features for the price. Will it be the OPPO A6 Pro or the vivo V60 Lite 4G? Let’s find out.
In terms of appearance, the OPPO A6 Pro offers a more eye-catching look with a petal-like pattern on its back panel. Meanwhile, the vivo V60 Lite goes for a simpler and more minimalistic design. Both devices use plastic materials for the rear.

For dimensions, the vivo V60 Lite is slimmer at 7.6mm, compared to the OPPO A6 Pro’s 8mm thickness. However, the OPPO A6 Pro is lighter at 185g, while the vivo V60 Lite weighs 194g.

When it comes to durability, the OPPO A6 Pro stands out with IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, while the vivo V60 Lite only has IP65 protection.

Winner (Design & Build): OPPO A6 Pro
Onto the display, both phones feature FHD+ AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, their screen sizes, resolutions, and brightness differ.

The vivo V60 Lite offers a larger display and higher brightness, which is ideal for outdoor use. On the other hand, the OPPO A6 Pro has reinforced screen protection.

Since display size preference varies from person to person, both devices have strong points here.

Both devices come with a 50MP main rear camera. However, the vivo V60 Lite also includes an 8MP ultrawide lens, while the OPPO A6 Pro only has an auxiliary sensor. For selfies, the vivo V60 Lite features a 32MP front camera, while the OPPO A6 Pro has a 16MP front shooter.
In real-world usage, the vivo V60 Lite offers more camera flexibility, especially with portrait and ultrawide shots.
In terms of video recording, the OPPO A6 Pro can shoot up to 1080p at 60fps, while the vivo V60 Lite is limited to 1080p at 30fps on the rear camera. Front selfie video on both devices tops out at 1080p at 30fps.
Winner (Cameras): vivo V60 Lite 4G
Now, let’s go and see what powers inside these devices.

Both phones come with capable chipsets, but they aren’t equal in terms of raw power. The OPPO A6 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, which offers better GPU performance and supports 5G connectivity. Meanwhile, the vivo V60 Lite runs on the Snapdragon 685, which is efficient and reliable but generally not as strong, especially in graphics-heavy tasks.

However, the difference in configuration balances things out. The vivo V60 Lite comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage as standard, while the base variant of the OPPO A6 Pro only includes 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. So even though the A6 Pro has the stronger chip, the V60 Lite gives you more memory and storage at the same price level.
Winner (Performance): Draw

For the battery, both devices pack a 6500mAh battery.

The difference is small, but the vivo V60 Lite takes around 58 minutes to charge from 0 to 100%, while the OPPO A6 Pro takes about 1 hour and 12 minutes.
Winner (Battery & Charging): vivo V60 Lite 4G

The OPPO A6 Pro offers better durability and 5G support, but the vivo V60 Lite provides more RAM and storage for the price.
Both smartphones are solid and decent choices in the budget to mid-range segment. The OPPO A6 Pro is ideal if you want 5G connectivity and stronger durability, while the vivo V60 Lite is better for users who value more storage, better selfie quality, and faster charging.
So the question is: Would you choose 5G and better protection, or bigger storage and more camera flexibility?
