OnePlus is currently working on a unified system for its devices that could arrive in the second half of 2022, informer Yogesh Brar points out to the MySmartPrice portal. This new interface — still in an early stage of development — should be based on the future Android 13, and is expected to debut on a Chinese flagship.
There’s no official name for the system yet, but leaks have suggested it might be called H2OOS. For now, however, users will have to make do with ColorOS in China — following the discontinuation of HydrogenOS — while the unified system is not announced for the global market.
There were expectations that this new system would arrive with the OnePlus 10 Pro, but this was later debunked. The device has already launched in China and will have its global version launched between March and April this year with OxygenOS 12. The smartphone is already undergoing tests in regions such as Europe and India before launch.
