OnePlus has recently announced and confirmed its launch for the OnePlus Watch and the OnePlus 9 series. This was done through a contest post in the OnePlus’ forum which the launch would be on March 23, 2021. The OnePlus Watch was confirmed back in December by the CEO of OnePlus and would be the first smartwatch of the company. Come January, a launch of the OnePlus Band was made.
In recent months, it was spotted on IMDA’s (Infocomm Media Development Authority) website along with the OnePlus Watch name and the model number W301GB. It was also confirmed by DPMA in Germany that the smartwatches would come in a sports and leather band design.
The OnePlus Watch will feature a round dial, two buttons on the right side, the heart-rate sensor on the back as well as charging pins. basing on its certification. The strap will be silicone while its design borrows heavily from the OnePlus band and other fitness bands. Another design suggests that it will come in a leather strap with a clasp-type lock.
As the date comes closer, we are surely hoping to see what other features the OnePlus Watch pack and what other devices the would OnePlus reveal in the event on March 23.
