OnePlus took a lot of people by surprise this weekend by announcing the start of development on OxygenOS 13. The news was published on the official Chinese developer forum.
In addition, the brand has also scheduled an event on February 28 where more details about the new interface will be offered to the public.
According to the company, top executives will be present at the event, including even OnePlus’ design lead. However, this announcement by OnePlus also shows that the company has not yet completed its integration with OPPO’s ColorOS.
The announcement of OnePlus came a day after the debut of the first Developer Preview of Android 13, and it is assumed that OxygenOS 13 will be based on the next major release of Android which will arrive in its final form towards the end of the year.
