There have been rumors surrounding the next flagship lineup of OnePlus with three models to expect this time around. While we’re almost certain that there will be vanilla and pro models of the presumed OnePlus 9, the “lite” version remains to be seen. Moniker-wise, there’s no definite name for this lite version of the OnePlus 9. However, rumors suggest that it might be called OnePlus 9E or 9R. That said, let’s take a look at the major specs of each device based on the recent leaks.
Starting with the OnePlus 9R, the supposed lite version of the flagship lineup would feature a 6.5″ FHD+ 90Hz display. It’s unknown at the moment whether the screen is of IPS LCD or OLED. But similar to the Nord N10, Snapdragon 690 is going to power the device. As for the rest, there would be a 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging, a 64MP main camera, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage.
For the OnePlus 9, the screen is nearly identical at 6.55″ diagonal. This time, it’s using 120Hz and Fluid AMOLED panel. The memory and RAM combo is the same, but the 4500mAh battery supports 65W charging. The list includes three cameras on the back featuring a 48MP sensor, 50MP, and 2MP lenses. As expected, the Snapdragon 888 is under the hood.Â
In the case of the OnePlus 9 Pro, it’s the largest of the bunch at 6.7″ diagonal. Most of the specs are identical to the vanilla OnePlus 9, but the back camera adds an 8MP lens. We also think that the addition of that lens will pave the way for that Hasselblad branding, offering optical zoom.
We may be a few weeks away from the official announcement of the OnePlus 9 Series since rumors suggest a mid-March release date.
