Last month, the Nokia X6 got certified by Taiwan’s NCC which suggested that its global launch might be drawing near. Today, it has been confirmed by HMD Global that the Nokia X6 will arrive to other countries starting on July 19.
The smartphone will be known as the Nokia 6.1 Plus in other countries. It will contain the same specifications as the China’s Nokia X6. The device is expected to feature a 5.84″ HD+ notched display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 and an aspect ratio of 19:9. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 636 chipset along with 4/6GB of RAM and an internal storage of 32/64GB which is expandable via a microSD card. The smartphone will also be fueled by a 3060mAh battery and run on Android 8.1 Oreo.
As for its camera capabilities, the Nokia 6.1 Plus might sport a 16MP + 5MP dual rear camera and a 16MP selfie snapper.
The 4GB RAM + 32GB storage is expected to be priced at 1,299 Yuan (approx. Php 10,644) while the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage retails at 1,499 Yuan (approx. Php 12,283). On the other hand, the 6GB RAM + 64GB will be available for 1,699 Yuan (approx. Php 13,922). Do note that these devices might be have a higher price in other countries.
