HMD has launched the Nokia 2360 Flip in the Philippines, a feature phone made for students and senior citizens who prefer simplicity and peace of mind.
The Nokia 2360 Flip pairs a classic clamshell flip design with parental controls, remote management tools, and dedicated emergency features. It sports a 2.8-inch QVGA main display and a 1.77-inch outer pane that allows users to identify incoming callers while the clamshell remains closed. For accessibility, the hardware utilizes a tactile keypad, enlarged menu icons, and highly legible text.
The device highlights HMD’s Family Assist application, accessible on both iOS and Android. The software allows relatives to remotely manage the phone’s volume, configure emergency contacts, and set daily reminders. Because these commands are transmitted via standard SMS, the handset does not require an active mobile data subscription.
For emergencies, the flip phone includes a dedicated SOS key. Holding the button for three seconds automatically dials a designated primary number and dispatches text alerts to a maximum of five pre-configured contacts.
Meanwhile, the phone features a suite of parental controls for younger users secured by a Family PIN. A dedicated School Mode locks the device down to clock access and emergency calls, while whitelist settings restrict incoming and outgoing communications. Guardians can also manually block access to the camera, built-in games, and other specific utilities.
Available colors are Dark Grey, Burgundy, and Teal.
