Nintendo has announced that the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 Direct will take place in Q2 of 2025.
For those who are confused, Nintendo Switch 2 Direct is a presentation by Nintendo, wherein they reveal more details about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console.
The Switch 2 will feature a larger 8-inch display, possibly OLED, and improved resolution at 1080p, replacing the original 720p screen.
The Joy-Con controllers have been redesigned with a magnetic attachment system and a wider, adjustable kickstand.
Additionally, the Joy-Con now includes an optical sensor for a potential ‘mouse mode’ feature, along with a second USB-C port.
The new console is expected to be powered by an Nvidia Tegra processor.
Nintendo Switch 2 Direct Date
The upcoming Nintendo Direct 2 is likely to reveal more details, including the launch games lineup. Which will happen on April 2, 2025, at 6AM Pacific Time (April 2, 2025, at 9 PM Philippine Time).
No price details yet, but Switch 2 is expected to be released between June and September 2025.
