Samsung Display has introduced a new 31.5-inch QD-OLED monitor panel that combines 4K resolution and a 360Hz refresh rate, which the company says is the first monitor panel to offer both specifications together.
According to Samsung Display, monitors have typically offered either 4K resolution with lower refresh rates or ultra-high refresh rates with lower resolutions due to technical limitations.
The new panel also supports Dual Mode, allowing users to switch between different resolution and refresh rate settings.
When set to Full HD resolution, the refresh rate can reach up to 680Hz.
Samsung Display said the panel is certified for VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600, offering higher brightness and deep black levels.

It also uses a new V-stripe pixel structure designed to improve text clarity for tasks such as document work, coding, and content creation.
The company said it is currently discussing supply agreements for the panel with more than 10 global customers and plans to begin mass production in the second half of 2026.
As of now, the 4K 360Hz QD-OLED Monitor Panel is being showcased at COMPUTEX 2026 in Taipei from June 2 to 5.
