POCO is set to launch the upcoming F8 Pro and F8 Ultra smartphones globally on November 26.
Ahead of the launch, POCO has revealed some of the key specifications of both smartphones. The POCO F8 Pro will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, while the POCO F8 Ultra will be powered by the newer and more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
The POCO F8 Ultra is also revealed to sport a 6.9-inch display, whereas the Pro model will offer a smaller 6.59-inch screen.
The brand also shared the battery capacities of both devices; the F8 Ultra will pack a 6,500mAh battery capacity, while the F8 Pro will get a 6,210mAh battery capacity.
Other mentioned features include a 5x periscope telephoto lens with Light Fusion 950 and a visible speaker at the back with Sound by Bose technology, which are exclusive to the Ultra variant only.
POCO has yet to reveal the rest of the official specifications of both smartphones, but reports have also surfaced online revealing the rest of them.
The F8 Ultra will offer a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary, 50MP periscope telephoto, and a 50MP ultrawide shooter. It will come with a 32MP selfie camera. It will allegedly support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Other leaked specs include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, an IP69 rating, a metal frame, and HyperOS.
On the other hand, the F8 Pro is rumored to sport an AMOLED display of the LTPS variety with Full-HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It’ll reportedly be equipped with a 50MP primary rear sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto with 2.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide, while selfies will be 20MP. Other leaked specs include LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, 100W fast charging support, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP69 rating, a metal frame, 199g weight, and Sound by Bose.
More details will be revealed during the launch. The POCO Pad X1 and Pad M1 will also be unveiled together with the F8 series.
