Nothing has officially unveiled Nothing OS 5.0.
The update adds a redesigned homescreen with new app icons, wallpaper-based colors, and transparent widgets.
It also introduces new clock faces and updated layouts across Settings, Camera, Gallery, and the Status Bar.
Other new features include:
- Glyph Timer for countdowns from the homescreen
- Collector for organizing photos and creating stickers
- Away Time for tracking phone-free periods
- Smart Collections in Essential Space
- Essential Voice with real-time transcription and support for over 100 languages
- Essential Apps that can be created using natural-language prompts without coding
- Improved app launches, scrolling, touch response, and multitasking
Nothing OS 5.0 also brings Android 17 features, including separate Notifications and Quick Settings, improved Quick Share, updated privacy controls, and a redesigned Recents screen.
