Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi 17 Max, bringing in a bigger battery in the latest number series.

The Xiaomi 17 Max features a 6.9-inch M10 12-bit OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, up to a 120 Hz refresh rate, and third-generation Dragon Crystal Glass. It also supports up to 3500 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 1920 Hz PWM dimming, and DC dimming.
One of its main highlights is its battery, packing a large 8,000mAh battery capacity with a 16% silicon content and an energy density of 894Wh/L. It supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. Battery management is done by integrated Surge P3 fast charging and Surge G2 battery management chipsets.
Moreover, it is powered by the 3nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 octa-core processor with Adreno 840 GPU, paired with up to 16GB LPPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 internal storage.
Camera-wise, the device is equipped with a Leica triple-lens rear camera system, including a 200MP main sensor with multi-frame fusion computational photography, a 50MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Upfront is a 32MP selfie camera.
Additional hardware features include stereo dual speakers, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and Xiaomi Star Communication connectivity.


The Xiaomi 17 Max starts at CNY 4,799 (~PHP 43,518.75) for the 12GB + 256GB model and goes up to CNY 5,799 (~PHP 52,587.04) for the 16GB + 512GB variant. The device is now available to order in China and will go on sale starting May 25.
