Alongside the HUAWEI WATCH GT6 Series, HUAWEI has also introduced the Watch Ultimate 2 globally.
This new watch features a 1.5-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with a 466 x 466 resolution and a brightness of up to 3500 nits.
The watch is also rated for diving up to 150 meters and can even transmit audio underwater. It also supports sonar messaging up to 30 meters and lets users connect with up to 50 diving partners.
Modes include recreational, technical, scuba, and free dive, with detailed dive metrics viewable on both the watch and the HUAWEI Health app.
The device includes the X-Tap multi-sensing control for health tracking, such as heart rate and ECG.
Connectivity-wise, it supports eSIM calling with AI noise cancellation, offline maps with Expedition Mode, and the Sunflower Positioning System.
Battery life is up to 11 days with light use, 6 days in typical use, and 4 days with Always-On Display. Meanwhile, standard use is rated at 4.5 days on Android and 3.5 days on iOS.
Both models weigh 80.5 grams, fit wrist sizes of 140–210 mm, and use a zirconium-based liquid metal case with sapphire glass.
Other functions include fall detection, action camera control, golf tracking, ball trajectory sharing, smart gestures, payments, and AppGallery apps.
The HUAWEI Watch Ultimate 2 will be available in October 2025. Pricing has not yet been announced, and there is no word on local availability yet. Stay tuned!
