ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has officially announced the availability of the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X in the Philippines.
The new handheld gaming consoles, developed in partnership with Xbox, are powered by the latest AMD Ryzen Z2 Series processors and come with upgraded ergonomics and improved performance.
The ROG Xbox Ally is equipped with an AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor, while the higher-end ROG Xbox Ally X features the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor with AI capabilities.
Both models come with a redesigned chassis for better grip and comfort, inspired by Xbox controllers. The ROG Xbox Ally X adds impulse triggers for improved control and haptic feedback.

Running on Windows 11, the devices feature an optimized Xbox interface to access Xbox Game Pass and PC titles. Players can navigate with the joysticks and buttons, adjust settings via the Game Bar, and still enjoy full access to Windows applications and mods.
The Ally X delivers higher gaming performance with the Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, 24GB LPDDR5X RAM, and a larger 80Wh battery. The regular Ally uses the Ryzen Z2 A processor with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and a 60Wh battery for balanced performance and power efficiency.
Both devices support AMD technologies such as FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR), Radeon Super Resolution (RSR), and Fluid Motion Frames (AFMF) for smoother gameplay.
Xbox has worked with game studios to optimize PC titles for handheld play through its Handheld Compatibility Program. Games will display “Handheld Optimized” or “Mostly Compatible” labels based on performance.

The Ally X also includes a built-in NPU for AI-powered features, such as automatic resolution upscaling (Auto SR) and automatic highlight reel generation.
A dedicated ROG Xbox Ally 2-in-1 Premium Case is also available, offering water resistance, a weather-proof zipper, and a detachable pouch for accessories.

The ROG Xbox Ally X is priced at PHP56,995, while the ROG Xbox Ally costs PHP36,995.
The ROG Xbox Ally Series will be available in the Philippines starting October 16, 2025, and include a Game Pass subscription and a 2-year international warranty.
Pre-orders are open from October 7 to 16, 2025, at ASUS and ROG Exclusive Stores nationwide.
