Samsung Galaxy Buds On Announced

Samsung Electronics has introduced the Galaxy Buds On.

Unlike traditional in-ear earbuds, the Galaxy Buds On uses a clip-type design that sits on the ear without blocking the ear canal.

For controls, the Galaxy Buds On supports touch gestures on the back of the earphones for functions such as music playback and call controls.

To improve audio performance with its open design, the Galaxy Buds On features TwinBoost speakers for enhanced low frequencies and an automatic volume adjustment feature based on the surrounding environment. It also introduces Audio Leakage Reduction technology to help reduce sound leakage in public areas.

The earbuds are powered by the Snapdragon S7 Gen 1 Sound Platform with a high-efficiency Class-D amplifier, offering up to 9.5 hours of continuous music playback on a single charge.

For calls, the Galaxy Buds On includes Intelligent Clear Call technology, three microphones, and a bone conduction-based vibration sensor to help separate the user’s voice from background noise.

The Galaxy Buds On also supports Galaxy AI features when connected to compatible Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Users can access features such as Gemini Live conversations, voice memos, and notification checks through voice commands.

Galaxy Buds On Availability

The Galaxy Buds On will launch in South Korea on October 27. Samsung has yet to announce global availability and pricing details.
