realme recently unveiled the new addition to the 14 series in India, the realme 14x 5G. Check it out!
One of its main selling points is its durability; the realme 14x 5G has IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. According to the brand, it is equipped with ArmorShell Protection and has passed and obtained a Military-Grade Shock Resistance certification. Additionally, it has integrated foam seal protection, waterproof membrane protection, liquid silicone protection, SonicWave water ejection, and Rainwater Smart Touch features.
The device’s rear sports a diamond-inspired design, which according to realme evokes the elegance and durability of diamonds, drawing inspiration from oval-cut diamonds and gem colors.
For specs, it flaunts a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 625nit peak brightness. It is powered by the 2.4GHz MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage.
It packs a large 6,000mAh battery capacity with 45W wired fast charging support. The brand said that the battery promises 4 years of durability with 80% health after 1,600 cycles and offers 38-layer safety protection for all-day safety.
Camera-wise, the device is equipped with a 50MP OV50D main camera accompanied by two unnamed sensors. Upfront is an 8MP selfie cmaera.
The realme 14x 5G is priced starting at INR 14,999 (~PHP 10,393) for the 6GB + 128GB configuration and INR 15,999 (~PHP 11,086) for the 8GB + 128GB version.
