Sony has officially confirmed that a new RX10 series camera will be unveiled globally.
The company has yet to reveal the camera’s name.
However, online reports suggest it could be called the Sony RX10 V, succeeding the RX10 IV that debuted in 2017.
Rumored upgrades include a faster image processing chip, improved autofocus performance, and support for Sony’s NP-FZ100 battery.

The upcoming model is also expected to retain the 1-inch image sensor and 24-600mm zoom lens found on the RX10 IV.
Keep in mind that Sony has not confirmed these specifications, and more details are expected during the official launch event on July 9, 2026.
