GCash, Maya Introduce PHP10 Transfer Charges

GCash has started charging a PHP10 fee for every transfer to other local banks in the Philippines.

Maya is also set to implement a PHP10 bank transfer fee beginning July 6.

The fee changes come as some banks have recently announced free fund transfers.

Earlier, BPI said it would waive fees for InstaPay and PESONet transfers.

Meanwhile, RCBC announced that customers can transfer money to other local banks through the RCBC Pulz app via InstaPay without paying a transfer fee. The offer covers the first 30 InstaPay transfers each month for transactions worth at least PHP100.
