
Canon Philippines has announced the pre-order details for its latest compact camera for content creation—the Canon PowerShot V1.
To recap, the Canon PowerShot V1 is a compact digital camera measuring 118.3 x 68.0 x 52.5 mm and weighing 426 grams.
It features a 22.3MP 1.4-inch CMOS sensor and a 16-50mm f/2.8 to f/4.5 retractable zoom lens. It offers up to 4K 60p cropped video recording and Dual Pixel CMOS AF II for improved focus.
Canon has included a built-in 10-bit Canon Log 3 gamma for advanced color grading, a 3-stop ND filter for bright-light exposure control, and 14 color filters. There’s also a built-in cooling fan, enabling over 2 hours of 4K 30fps recording or streaming.
Moreover, it has a vari-angle LCD touchscreen that supports dynamic shooting angles, selfies, and precise framing. Users can switch between modes quickly with a dedicated lever, use the Mode Dial for instant presets, and stay aware with the built-in tally lamp and dedicated record button.
Other features include an electronic shutter, 5-axis Optical and Digital IS, Subject Tracking IS, built-in 3-mic system, and Mode Dial.
The PowerShot V1 packs a 1,040mAh LP-E17 battery capacity and charges via USB Type-C.
The Canon PowerShot V1 is priced at PHP 54,998 and is now available to pre-order via Canon stores and authorized Canon retailers nationwide until April 30, 2025. Buyers can add PHP 2,000 to avail of the HG-100TBR tripod grip.
