HONOR Magic V3 launched globally

HONOR recently introduced the HONOR Magic V3 foldable smartphone globally at IFA 2024 in Berlin. The smartphone was first unveiled last July 2024 in China.

HONOR Magic V3 goes global!

To recap, the HONOR Magic V3 features a 7.92-inch FHD+ OLED LTPO internal panel with 120Hz refresh rate, 4320Hz high-frequency PWM, HDR10+, 1.07 billion colors, DCI-P3 Wide Color Gamut, up to 5000 nits of brightness, Dolby Vision, 9.78:9 aspect ratio, and it has stylus support.

Meanwhile, the external screen flaunts a smaller 6.43-inch FHD+ OLED panel with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. The rest of the display specs are the same as the internal screen, including a 4320Hz high-frequency PWM eye protection, HDR10+, 1.07 billion colors, DCI-P3 Wide Color Gamut, up to 5000 nits of brightness.

Both displays are protected by Rhino glass and also come with multi-touch, HONOR Eye Comfort Display, and AI Defocus Display.

Under the hood, it is powered by the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core processor with Adreno 750 GPU, 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage.

It also packs a 5150mAh battery capacity with 66W Wired SuperCharge fast charging and 50W Wireless SuperCharge fast charging.

For optics, it features an octagonal dome camera island housing a 50MP 1/1.56-inch main sensor with OIS, a 50MP 1/2.51-inch periscope lens with OIS, 3.5x optical zoom, and up to 100x digital zoom, and a 40MP ultra-wide shooter with 112° ultra-wide viewing angle. Upfront is a 20MP selfie camera with up to 4K video recording.

Lastly, the HONOR Magic V3 is 9.2mm thick when folded, 4.35mm thick when unfolded, and 226g in weight.
