Bose has officially unveiled the second generation of its Ultra Open Earbuds, introducing more opportunities for audio listening during both active workouts and daily life.

The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds (2nd Gen) feature a newly engineered driver that delivers deeper bass and higher overall volume compared to the original generation. Audio performance is further enhanced by Snapdragon Sound and aptX Adaptive codec support, while dedicated SpeechClarity technology and Auto Volume dynamically optimize call clarity and adjust sound levels based on ambient noise.
The earbuds also feature Cinema Mode, powered by Bose TrueSpatial technology, which expands the soundstage to deliver a theater-like experience with any content source, keeping dialogue sharp, clear, and centered without losing spatial depth.
In terms of design, the second-gen open-ear earbuds have a refined metallic cap featuring a beveled finish. Engineered for high-movement activities, the earbuds stay securely in place during vigorous motion, head shakes, and sudden flips. It also carries an IP54 rating for resistance against dust, sweat, and splashes, backed by a durable silicone build designed to handle intense workouts.
The charging case can stand upright and supports wireless charging. Battery life is rated for up to 9 hours on the buds, and the case provides an additional 19.5 hours of charge.
Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.4 with dual-device multipoint pairing, standard SBC/AAC codec support, and Google Fast Pair for seamless Android setup.
Additionally, users can customize shortcuts for Spotify Tap, native voice assistant access, or cycling through Bose Immersive Audio modes.
Available colors include Black, White Smoke, Cherry Chocolate, and Olive Green.
