Google has officially expanded its “Search Live” feature globally.
The Search Live feature allows users to interact with Google Search in real time using voice or camera for visual questions.

To use it, users need to open the Google app on Android or iOS and tap the Live icon under the search bar.
With this new feature, users can speak to Search and receive audio responses, then continue the conversation with follow-up questions or links.
For camera mode, Google can see what a user’s phone camera is pointing at. It then provides help based on what it is seeing, such as instructions or search results.

The update is powered by the new audio and voice model Gemini 3.1 Flash Live, which supports more natural and multilingual conversations. It also works with Google Lens for real-time visual queries.
Google Search Live is now available globally. It supports all languages and is available in more than 200 countries and territories where AI Mode is supported.
